I. Core Structure of Boke Liquid Ring Compressors

Main Layout The front and rear suction & discharge plates as well as pump covers are fastened to both ends of the pump body through tie bolts. A bearing bracket is mounted outside the pump cover to support the rotating shaft and impeller, delivering a compact layout for easy disassembly and assembly.

Impeller & Shaft Assembly The impeller is fitted onto the shaft via interference fit. The linear speed of the impeller reaches no less than 38 m/s to guarantee high-pressure output in a single stage. Cylindrical roller bearings paired with double-row angular contact ball bearings are adopted at the shaft ends to resist axial play and ensure stable operation.

Full-Cladding Sealing System (Key Innovation) Equipped with cartridge mechanical seals and cladded shaft sleeves, the rotating shaft is completely isolated from corrosive media. Three-tier sealing structure: O-rings on the shaft sleeve (impeller spigot), inner bore sealing rings (between shaft and sleeve), and face sealing rings (pump cover spigot). The reliable sealing performance makes the unit suitable for flammable, explosive and corrosive working conditions.

Optimized Suction & Discharge Plates Integrated with flexibly adjustable discharge grooves and precision suction/discharge port profiles, these plates are integrally machined on vertical machining centers, which greatly improves compression efficiency and pressure stability.

Air compressors are general-purpose dry mechanical compression equipment with high efficiency and high pressure, mainly supplying clean compressed air for general industrial power sources. Q: 2. What are the differences between liquid ring compressors and liquid ring vacuum pumps?

A: Liquid ring vacuum pumps generate vacuum through a rotating liquid ring. Their core function is gas extraction and pressure reduction, removing gas from sealed containers to create negative pressure. Liquid ring compressors compress gas via a rotating liquid ring. Their core function is gas pressurization and transportation, boosting gas from low pressure to positive gauge pressure for delivery.
The pump casing, end covers and connecting ports of compressors feature higher pressure resistance grades. Their impellers adopt stronger materials and higher structural rigidity to suit high-pressure discharge conditions. By contrast, vacuum pumps prioritize sealing performance to guarantee vacuum degree without high-pressure bearing design.

Q: 3. How to select a suitable liquid ring compressor?

A: To pick a matching liquid ring compressor, you shall first confirm process parameters including inlet & outlet pressure, flow rate, medium composition and operation mode. Continuous supplementary service liquid flow shall not exceed 10% of the designed flow rate. Please consult our engineering team if extra service liquid supply is required.

Q: 5. Is full-liquid startup permitted for liquid ring compressors?

A: No, it is strictly forbidden! At least half of the internal cavity of the casing must remain empty before startup.
The startup torque under full-liquid conditions will increase by 30% to 50% compared with normal operation, which poses severe damage risks to the impeller blades.
